For this animation it was very inportant to show the benefits of the detection technology and how it can prevent, not only explosions but also unnecessary trips to the inspection facility.
Whenever the client wanted parts of the animation explained more thoroughly, I created a new storyboard for that portion.
Delmation uses blue in their company colors, so to stay in line with this I decided to use mostly blue in the animation. I also chose a vector style since this would portray the information clearly and would be best to animate.
I created the garbage truck first to show the client the style.
To ensure the animation wouldn’t be too fast or too slow, I made a moving storyboard.
